Hermes 2000the pre-3000 flagship
The 2000 is what came before the 3000, and some typewriter people argue it's the more interesting machine. Smaller keys, tighter feel, more of a 1940s engineering character. Saw heavy use through World War II and into the 1950s, when the 3000 succeeded it.
