Spacebar Press
Writing a book is a lot of work. Then comes the rest of it: the copyedit and the proofread, the interior and the cover, the ISBN, the listing, and getting the finished thing into readers' hands.
Spacebar Press is the imprint I created to publish my own books. It's also the name of the studio that handles all of this for authors who want to turn a manuscript into a published book and launch it well.
Work with me to take the manuscript the rest of the way as your developmental and line editor. I make sure it gets properly copyedited, proofread, designed, and typeset. You own the ISBN and the rights, and the book comes out under your name and your own imprint.

Manuscript to market
Every book is priced as a flat fee after we've talked and I've read the manuscript. Most range between $9,000 and $15,000 in total, depending on length, how much editing the draft needs, and whether it's illustrated. Payment comes in phases to match the work being delivered: the editorial work comes first, and production follows on a schedule we set together. You'll have full visibility and weigh in at each stage on the cover, the layout, and your goals for the book after it's published.
"He was able to draw out of me what I wanted from the story without setting any terms for me. He would listen, ask questions and reiterate until it became clear."
